Ensures the healthy functioning of tissues by retaining water molecules and binding them in the intercellular space. It possesses a high efficacy coefficient, as one molecule of hyaluronic acid can retain moisture up to a thousand times its own weight. With this property, hyaluronic acid protects the cells of connective tissues from dehydration, prevents moisture evaporation by forming a protective layer, strengthens it, and provides skin elasticity.
